Just got back from a weekend with camping and no cell service. Two night trips are the way to go! So much more relaxing. No wheeling, just a lot of campfires, beer, hammock hanging and kayaking.

It was a lot of fun! We had a lot of hammocks, so we just cross crossed all of them and made a little hammock village.

Truck pulls to the right when braking. Pads on passenger side look good. At least half meat maybe more. Haven't looked at DS yet. Cleaned out some mud.

How do I change the pads on this? I hear the caliper stays put?

Ignore the part where he unbolts the caliper. Only changing pads is a piece of cake. Although when I first did it, when I spread the calipers open for the new pads, it forced brake fluid out of the reservoir because it was all the way full. Had to use a turkey baster to get some out.

Caliper stays put. It’s kind of a pain in the ass but super easy for the most part. Couple clips and a few through rods. Just need to be able to push the hydrolic pumps back in evenly while taking the pads out. And you need to grab some special break glue for the little vibe pieces. Had a buddy help me out but it’s super straight forward

Right on. Thanks guys. Yeah I got as far as pulling out the pins and whatnot but then looked at the pads and thought they looked fine. Then i tried to wiggle the old ones out just to see what all the hype is about. I'll run the old ones for a while I think. I just wish I wouldnt pull to the right when braking. Any thoughts on that issue?

When you added your extended brake lines, did you do a really thorough bleeding? Starting at farthest drum, and working your way closer to the MC?

And when you did the rear, you had the key on ACC ?

Get a long enough clear hose that will fit on the bleed nipple. Run it to a catch can of some sort close to the brake peddle. Bleed it until you see no bubbles. Make sure to keep the brake resevoir topped off. If you get air in there it's a pain in the ass to get out.

I was pushing the pedal, someone else whom I trust was doing the bleeding. Yes key to ACC. The pulling passenger was happening before I changed the lines. Would mud build up do that? Uneven pad wear?

In preparation of picking up my bumper tomorrow, I pulled my drawers so I can fit it in the bed.

All I can say is holy fuck, those drawers/tools are heavy. Drove to chipotle and it was amazing! A bit more responsive and clutchwork was a lot easier.

I think tomorrow or my next break, I’m gonna tweak it to shed some pounds.

Good eye! Yeah he’s a spoiled pup, but dammit he loves his cot. We’ll put it near the fire and he’ll pass OUT. It makes camping with him less stressful because he sleeps just as much on that thing as he does on our couch.

I'm going to try getting out just me and my pooch some this yr and try it out with her. Hopefully she does just as well want to try it with just her first before I add the youngin to the mix as well. What cot is that I may get one for the tent so her claws don't tear up the tent. I know I am going to throw some blankets down on the floor of the tent as well to protect it.
