New wheel bearing ordered! Went with @05Taco4x4. He's also in the Navy, and wanted to help a brother out. Should be here in a week or so.

you can drive it it will be fine :p

thats a lot of play! Don't drive it!

Mine was close to that when I changed it. But was less when I discovered it. Rolled two weeks, for the time I get the new one, and went out fast!

Easy job! While you are there take a look at all the seals related to hub, spindle and axles, mine were shot the two times I had a bad bearing

So earlier I installed my new DOT/SAE compliant fogs. What an adventure! First off, I had to shorten the legs by about 1/2" so they'd fit a little better in the bumper. Went to turn them on and no dice.

I did A LOT of trouble shooting, with no success. Tested fuse, relay, fog light anytime mod, switch, etc and everything worked. Or so I thought.

I saw this diagram, which enlightened me a little. (thanks @Crom ) The fog relay gets a constant +12v, but the ground is what's switched. I didn't know that. So to do some trouble shooting, I just hooked the relay straight to a ground to bypass the switch all together. It worked! This leads me to believe it's the switch itself. I'm going to swap Davids switch in next time I see him to see if his works. In the meantime, I left my ghetto wire jumper in. So now my fogs will turn on/off with my truck but I have no way of turning them off while I'm driving. This is a temporary thing.

@Kemosabe not the best pic, but it shows the cut off. I’m curious how well they’ll work on the road.

This is standing about 4 feet away

That cut off line is insaine! Me want some! Are they the same size as a "standard" pod? To replace the ambers I have? But I don't want to replace the ambers, just want to know haha

They are! They’re the same size as my ditch lights and other pod lights I’ve had in the past. I may put some amber film on them
