It's the "documentation" mentality of society now. People will see a crying baby wandering in traffic and take a pic or vid to document it for their social media page first before even thinking about helping. Some people are just so Fn clueless and/or just don't give a f@ck about the ramifications of their actions or the feelings of others. It's all me me me nowadays. I'd like to have a huge stick and license to use it legally. I would not have any problems beating sense into some people.

You don’t leave part of your driveway clean and the other dirty. You just leave the whole thing dirty :p

Ok, so then not so bad, if it includes the ladder too. Modding is a big money game for sure. Make shit totally cool as hell and give it that "crack addiction" appeal, add in some engineering and assembly labor and then just charge top dollar for it. I'm all for it, and if there is a need, then there is value to the user. I would never call someone out on anything they did to their truck for whatever reason and I like everything I see on this forum so you'll never get any rebuttal from me.

If I was looking down in my hand at $3k, assessed my life and decided there was nothing else I needed to use it on, then you can best believe I would be putting it into the Taco. Sucks though to have assess all the time :D

    ^^^ This!

And OTOH what happens is all the PC stuff, that most (not necessarily old timers) complain about.
Most out it boils down to common sense, or lack of thereof ...

    Edit. And respect...

Oh yeah, I totally agree. I'm a strong believer in the whole "whats right for you, isnt right for me" ideal.

And unfortunately life does come before the 4runner more than I wish it had to. Which is why im trying to build it up now before I get too many things I have to worry about

Yeah, I am old and I tell ya what, I am so sick of being PC I am about ready to blow the F@uck up! I am decent, respectful, and kind, but damn, do I have to be so freaking sensitive all the freaking time!? I'd like to be able to call a dumb ass a dumb ass when it applies! And not have to think, well, maybe they have a learning disability and, oh, or maybe they were not breast fed when they were 3 years old or oh, maybe.........screw that, if you are smart enough to drive a car, then cut me off and not use your turn signal doing it, then I should have the right to roll up to you and call you a dumb ass and then the opportunity to use that stick I was talking about earlier. I get so furious sometimes.

All finished! So nice and purdy, and this little ryobi does work. Now to put on dry clothes and mow the lawn.
