It is lol thats why I went with URD, but hurst is much cooler! And better reduction of throw if i am not mistaken
    Of course it is!
but you need the whole Short throw kit to be cool. Just the handle doesn't make it and Hurst:boink:

    same here! Funny shit lol

Haven't lived that, my current gf is my second one and we've been together for 5 year and a half (yes I do count halves :anonymous:) and I don't plan to have a 3rd one lol its her birthday today and I am far from home for work, bummer

Oh absolutely short throw!!! Long is got big rigs. I'm suggesting you go with the kit but also ditch the ball for the T handle. Then you have the best of both worlds!!!

And since you have a manual, I would go with this one!!!!! (if the pattern is the same)

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Sounds about as bad as my recent butt to phone explosion while working out in the yard on my tractor. I am still cleaning up my phone and the results, which nearly cost me $600 in Amazon stuff I didn't want. Including two Gentex rearview mirrors for Camry's. Posting on here is about as bad, especially when people start quoting you and preserve the memory! LOL

Luckily it was off-topic for the thread and not too juicy. I think everyone just skipped over it. I edited the post already to remove the trace.

My main reason for wanting one is not having to deal with ice. I hate how all my stuff gets wet and soggy in there!

Wife’s home of residence is PA, and military doesn’t pay state taxes. For some reason, they feel the need to take money still, so we just get it all back at the end.

    Something like that :D

Edit: in our marriage, there’s no my money or her money. It’s OUR money and we collectively decide how to spend it in a situation like this where we get a random large lump sum

Not sure if you've ever tried or heard of this hack.

Back in my camping days.......... I use to fill empty .5 and 1 gal milk jugs partially and freeze them.

Benefit 1 - I had a deep freezer so I would keep some in there when it wasn't all the way full. This is good for the freezer because the less full they are the harder they work. Also, if your power goes out you have ice to either keep there or distribute to your refrigerator too.
Benefit 2 - Then, whenever I needed ice for coolers for whatever reason I would use the milk jugs and keep them sealed. The larger ice blocks stay frozen longer and there is no water in your cooler. If you need, you can always break it up into smaller pieces for beer cooler.
Benefit 3 - As the ice melts you can drink the cold water if needed.

That’s really smart! I don’t have much extra freezer space, but I may adapt this idea to work for me. I’ll still be bring my cooler along for all the beer, and this will work great.
