Now you are starting to get into the realm of camping I would be into. This is such a cool shot!

I was so flattered to see my trailer made it in before unicorn guy. Thanks Floyd.

    Thanks man.

This is what I started with. There’s a link to the build in my SIG if you’re interested.

That trailer is super cool. Kinda looks like if Sears had set up shop in pre war Germany. Very cool that you kept the fenders. As I said on your build page, haven't heard the name Doug Thorley in a very long time. Gave me chills. Way cool. Looks like you got a lot going on. Very nice.

I am interested in everything and everyone. I was a gear head back when the Fonz was popular. Just never got into wrenching. I just like to drive. Hell, I'll drive you all crazy if you let me. My first off road vehicle was a 1980 Ford Bronco. Used to wheel the shit outta that. Once I broke the rag joint and fixed it with duct tape and speaker wire to limp home. It was a beast.

Now I am older so I live vicariously though all you younguns. It works, for now. :D

    Lol!

I’m old enough to think about my glory days too. I’ll be 40 in July. My first car was a 61 VW Beetle that my Dad turned into a Baja.

The list goes on and on after that. I was 15 then, and bought and sold a few cars before I even got my license...

    True story:

When I was kid, ready to drive, I asked my dad for a motorcycle. He said fck tht and had a 62 VW Bug towed into the driveway and said "if you fix it it's yours."

When my little brother was ready to drive, my dad had a 65 VW Bug towed into the driveway and said "if you fix it it's yours."

Fast forward a bunch of years later, he flew in from the Philippines and came to visit my brother and I in San Diego and said he needed to borrow a car to visit his friends.

My brother and I bought a nice 68 VW Baja Bug. Pulled the plugs, had it towed into my driveway and said:

"If you fix it.... it's yours!"

    :D
