    Soft shackle version2.0

This cracked me up today.. Dropped in an overland FB group some soft shackle pics and asked if anyone else ties there own to get some tips or tricks. Not a single person referenced the diy shackle as a positive move, most were saying buy them from a dealer so they are rated is the only way to own a soft shackle. Than this joker tells me “you don’t make your own D rings so why make your own soft shackles..”

Sometimes FB groups are straight AIDS. On my Subaru I swapped wheels and didn’t put TPMS back on, so I disassembled the dash and put tape over the light so I could stop staring at it.

All these people were coming out and saying it was the dumbest thing ever and were acting like me taking apart the instrument gauge was going to break my car into a million pieces. Some people just don’t get it.

I think @ilubtimmyhos is? I can't remember which one he has but I remember it wasn't one of the ones I normally see people run.

edit: yeah he's running it. It's nice! Although he said that the compressor isn't quite as rugged so getting jostled around offroad may mess it up

I'm no magician! They're in AZ right now for expo west. I also definitely forgot to remind him to check and see if he had the skid in stock

Leavin tomorrow morning for a week end in the wood with my buddy at is moose hunting shak. I'll be offline until Sunday evening. I'll be on a part of the Swisha Loop also, i'll have a look at that mega washout. Might be hunting bears also, but I don't count too much on it since last week end there was still snow and roads in poor state, buddy couldn't go there to install the stuff and feed. Buddy brings his 30-06, I bring my .22:rofl:I also bring my fishing line, may cast in the lake and try to catch a few trouts!

I wish you all a nice week end, see y'all Sunday!
