Whoops, I meant to type 255/80r16 which is 1" shorter than the usual 255, but apparently that's not a thing. Only 255/75r17 is, but that doesn't do you any good.

Ok so then one advantage I see is the closer you are to the mud, the more you wear.
Also, this is the same reason I only hang out with uniqs at the pool.

But seriously. Holy Crap On A Cracker Batman!!!!!!! That's some freakin' awesome shit there!!! :headbang:

Why are lifted trucks with huge ass wheels like hanging around a bonfire to some guys. Myself included!

Yeah for 16s it’s 85 vs 80 for 17s. Just like 265/75r16 and 265/70r17 being pretty much the same. I wish all tires were just the 33x12xwhatever

Also depends on how much your tires stick out from the fenders I run with guys who's wheels are inside the fender wells running skinnies and a day out wheeling they don't look nearly as messy as mine. One of the guys I wheel with his Girl has a JKU without fenders and on 37 STT MTPs and even the slightest bit of mud and that jeep look like it's been through a mud hole as deep as the roof.

There is a whole thread of guys running 37s and what needs to be done and what is best etc. There are others not listed in the thread and there are several other threads about it but here is one.
