Just found out my caliraised light bar doesn't fit between the cut out. And it also didn't come with the plug to connect it to the harness.

That's unlucky. Could you cut more to make it fit?

    Unfortunately no mods today :(

Just maintenance... timing belt, water pump, radiator and hoses, ac condenser. Most of that being original except the timing belt was changed 14 years ago.
Did a compression test as well ran 210psi across board except one came in at 185psi. So not terrible.

Mod 2 for the day. The O's did not want to come off the backing.

@Blackout14 says this one fits. You just need to make your own feet or something like that. I haven't installed mine yet because you have to drop the bumper to get it in there.

Mine were the same way. One I had to free hand, but it came out good.

The 40" cut out in the rack. I have the bumper light bar I just have to install my fuse panel first.

Also, you just have to take the grille out and you can finagle it in there.

Edit: And the grill support too I believe.

Lol mine too, I messaged @Mobtown Offroad about it. I was like "I can't free spool my cable! The clutch is blocked!" I also had to trim it to fit in bigger than recommended spotties.

I had to do the same for my demello bumper. The only part that wouldn't clear was my solenoid, and I didn't have wire on hand to relocate it to the engine bay.

Can't do that though. That space is where you warm your Tostitos up.

Since y’all are talking about lights. What’s the pros to having Amber vs White LEDs?

Amber/yellow tends to cut through fog better, but that's about it. Which reminds me, I need to order some lamin-x film covers for my fogs.

Is there a difference in brightness when it’s not foggy?

I honestly couldn't tell you. I would imagine that the amber won't give you nearly as much usable light.

On a related note, holy moly lamin-x is expensive/over priced. This is the price for two 2"x4" rectangles. I'm about to buy 1 square foot off ebay for $6.50 shipped and cut my own out. So much better

What Randy said. Amber helps in the dust too in certain cases. My spotties are amber leds.

Thanks fellas! Been looking at some replacements for my Nilight ditch lights and I’ve been eyeing Black Oak LED pods and they have an amber option. Seen people running them as fogs but haven’t seen too many as ditch lights.
