IIRC they were perfectly flush, or at least within 1/4" of one another. With that being said, I installed mine different than most. I don't have tracks on my cap and just drilled straight through the roof, which will make it sit a little lower than someone who uses the tracks.

I'm wanting to hit Rausch in July but do some harder trails. All blues, and dabble in some blacks (be gentle, I have open diffs and it's my first time). Anywho, here's my proposed dates that work for me. Curious on anyone elses input.

July 5th (they'll be open even though it's a Thursday)

Could maybe do July 6th, 7th, or 8th. Won't know until it gets closer.

    July 15th - Sunday

    July 22nd - Sunday

I’m itching to go. Gotta look at my schedule. When I do go, it’ll be an overnighter. Sat black, Sun blue to make sure truck gets home in one piece to get me to work

I think you should volunteer to cover someone else's shift on any of those weekends, and then go for the Takeover on July 27, 28, 29.

I have to work on 13-15 and 29. Im not super dying to go, since its getting expensive. And Ive been thinking about switching to aluminum

If I was on day shift it'd be a lot easier to swap, but I'll have just transitioned to night shift so it'd be a pain in the ass.

I just double checked the schedule and there's no way it'd happen. Only way is if I get pulled off this shiftwork by then, which is unlikely.

ahh ok. Youd have lots of fun at takeover. And get to see some SAS guys for ideas, but not follow them on trails.

And next year youre not even going to be here!

I know, it'd be a lot of fun! I really would like to go, just unlikely. If by some miracle I get taken off shift work then I'll definitely go.

I mean I'm down to go, but I would have to bypass the blacks. And take my time on the blues. Not really worried about my front bumper at this point, but still have a rear bumper to worry about.

Yeah I kinda figured that would be the case, but didn't want you to feel like you weren't invited. You're welcome to come but you may be a bit uncomfortable haha

Having a reason and having the money are two different things. I have a wedding to pay for now too. On top of the front bumper I ordered.

I'm fine with being uncomfortable. I dont want to be the reason for the group being slow, caus I would have to go slow on harder trails. And the blues dont bother me, but I can't touch the blacks yet.

Thank you! And that's already payed for, just some wedding stuff now.
