I used this stuff. It's alright. Pretty thin paint so you need a bunch of coats, but I'm impatient and never do enough. So it's not the greatest protection against the elements. Sure is cheap though!

    *gasp* why no swingout?

    Pay your bills!

Also, if you do want to order it call your bank. Sometimes banks flag our site. I wish I could figure out how to fix it.

Yea I was thinking a little more heavy duty than that. I might pick up a heavier duty primer and then borrow my buds spray gun.

Do I really need a swingout? I can always beg joe to weld one on for me later if I find myself needing it.

I think it's the purchase total. If I try to spend more than $30 they cancel my card and freeze all my assets.

It all depends what you use your truck for, really. For me, a full sized spare is a MUST. No debate about it, and I don't have anywhere else to put it, so a swingout was a no brainer. Other perks are the swing down table, and somewhere to hold my spare gas and propane and axe. Less necessary, but still extremely handy at keeping the bed free. Plus the trasharoo is awesome.

Downsides are if you ever need do haul anything long, where the tailgate would need to be open. It's not an option, so you'd have to find another solution or just remove the swingout all together. Not a big deal as it's one giant bolt that holds it on.

I just cant justify spending the money on a swingout right now. I'm mouning my spare to my bedrack for now. Whenever I put that back in. Hopefully before mid-July.

That's one perk of living local to Joe is that he can always add the swingout on at a later date.

Maybe have Joe weld on the swingout spindle, (which should structurally be part of the bumper.). Then you can get the swingout later, when your credit card limit goes over 30 bucks.

I'm at work!! It's blocked here. And damn, that's nice but also a lot of money. If it was like $300 I'd be all over it. Between that cost and gas I'd be almost at the cost of an ARB

I could express it possibly. I mean it’s like 5 mins from me.
