I tried that last time and it peeled. The wind out here is unforgiving. Plastidip generally lasts me 2 years.

Did you use adhesion promoter? I think that's part of what helped mine stock so well.

Yea I want to either cut them down or weld a plate over the holes. But Mike doesn't know how to weld.

 

Did you know you can just unbolt them? There's one bolt on the bottom that holds it in.

Yep, hence the cutting them down option. I just don't want the holes open.

 

Could be an option to look at after alignement if the guy tells me he can't align the truck properly. How much you looking for? And how old? Serviceable balljoint?

You could fill it with some sort of non absorbent expanding foam, then just paint the outer part black.

Man I've been busy. Although yesterday I did watch "The Thinning" which is a youtube original, and that was a great movie!

This was yesterday! I'm busy today. And the thinning is awesome. The population gets to be too high, so countries have to annually kill 5% of their population. The USA does it by issuing a test grades 1-12, and the bottom 5% get killed.
