Those 2 are awesome! I met Finnegan during my minitruckin phase before he got to where he is now. My buddy's turbo pinto wagon made the Car Craft top 10 favorite cars of Power Tour this yr.

So I was looking on TRDparts4u and found they sell replacement parts for the TRD CAI. You can get all the replacement parts for under 225 don't know what shipping would be. But they sell the whole intake for 375. That's a 150 savings and a really good CAI since it's still a sealed box and doesn't have that convoluted duct and weird filter box that doesn't have good flow to the TB.

So you can piece it together way cheaper than the whole unit?

Apparently oh and the filter which is 78 bucks but still that puts you at 300 instead of 375

Here's a link to the replacement parts deal. Also I left off the air flow funnel that goes in the fenderwell. Since that'll be taken off if you add a snorkel. Also don't think that really adds to the efficiency of the intake. I think the rest of the intake is where the gains and efficiency are going to be made.

ok then why not just upgrade to a cone filter and put a prefilter over it if your worried about dust?

It's not dust and it's getting air from the wheel well just like the normal factory one. I am worried about this more than dust and a cone filter has a better chance of sucking in the water than a proper air box. Also the S&B intake is a viable option, I had one on my F350 and they are really nice units just have to get some beutal rubber to seal the clear plastic lid properly.

I'm not kinda hard to avoid the water in the middle of a trail though and there aren't any bypasses around it.

So I pulled the trigger on way more than I needed to. Got a new sleeping bag, a bigger camping hammock, solar panels, the works.

Run helium in your tires and you'll actually float over the water.

You don't always need a winch and yeah sometimes planks don't always work. You need to get out and really wheel to understand. If you can avoid winching and using traction boards you do they are more of a pain than just going through, over, around, up, sliding down, etc obstacles.

I was hoping they would run a sale on a welder... but nope. Also I was hoping they'd run one on PVC so I can start collecting material for my first model.
