I don’t think it’s too terribly bad. Just disconnect the driveshaft, CVs, a few mounting bolts and maybe a sensor or diff breather.

    That’s probably also grossly simplified

All these do is replace the spider gears very simple to do. Not really the best style of locker something like the Eaton which is replaces the whole differential and you have to swap the ring gear onto it is the best practice. But those that replace the spiders are good and from what I have read are pretty stout as long as you arent putting a ton of power through them.

Heck yeah, thanks guys! It’ll be here Monday. Not sure when I’ll get around to installing it since we’re supposed to get loads of rain. As long as it’s in before the end of August, I’ll be happy.

Oh great so that makes me the only non-locked truck now...what to do now... :spending:

Congrats man! Can't wait to see how well it performs now, all that extra flex you recently added and now locked. Will have to find that real flexy hill at Rausch so you can take the straight line up while I make S turns up.

I’m also going to reroute my exhaust at the t case and get a new skid so it’ll all be tucked up 2”-3” now. Hopefully not nearly as much high centering!

I’ll check when I get to work.
