It looks like a cover that slips over them to save them seats! At only $200 a seat that's really not that bad.

I wish! That'd be sweet. I'd do a 4 point harness if I were to ever do them. Only downside is mounting them. This is a HUGE no no. They need to go straight back so you'd need a custom bar made up.

I think the hardest part is finding one that's comfy. The one's I was linking were suspension seats, so they're super springy and avoid bumps well, which would be sweet offroad. If I were to ever do it, I'd likely just buy the one seat for the drivers side and get the one slide, totaling $300. Once Kara sees how damn comfy it is she'll want one for her side!!

That would be sweet! I wonder if stock seat belts could still be used. Or just do a 2 point lap belt because that's easy.

Im pretty sure a 4 point is not street legal.

I saw 1 Recaro seat. It was $1100

I don't think it is either because it's not DOT certified. And holy shit that's expensive.

One thing I just thought of is that the female side of the seat belt is attached to the seat itself, so it would take some modification to use a stock seat belt. This all sounds like a lot of work.

I thought it was bolted on. From a parts perspective that would be one big part

I'm going to find a way to bolt an Eames chair into my truck. #BachelorTaco

Like the female side was bolted to the seat bracket? That would make sense. I may have to pull my seat out sometime and take a close look at it. Now I'm curious.
