That makes sense. I wonder if I could use the brackets with a blemished seats and still save money. I would also just start with one, most likely and get another down the road. I think I have side air bags though, would they still be compatible?

Are you sure? I know I don't and we're the same year. If you do, you'll have a little tag on the outside edge, halfway up that'll say SRS. If you do, you'll have to get creative though. It seems people will just transfer over all stock airbag wiring and hardware to a new seat, but it takes awhile. That's what stemmed all this because I know I don't have airbags.

I need to go check, I swore I do, but I could be wrong. I was just on the website and they have a Baja RS in blemished for 180 which isnt bad. I just imagine its not cheap to ship these bad boys.

Yeah I'm very curious as to how much shipping is. Really I should just pick up the phone and call and ask. I need to be good with my budget this month though. We went way over last month so I told Kara I'd be good this month :p If I still have fun money in a few weeks maybe I'll pick one up.

Not sure my apartment would appreciate me shipping seats to the office for package holding haha. I need to find someone near me I could ship too with a little more space hah. I also need to finish the solar and install the fridge before I embark on new projects.

    Too many to list.
Finally got to replace all three pulleys and serpentine belt and let me tell you something.. its bs. It's utter bs and won't do it again on an older truck from the east Coast. :D However, it feels good to get it done.

My issues were the goddamn rust and working on my back. I almost gave up at one point because I couldn't get the bolts off but PB blaster recued me once again. I shouldn't be surprised but it's just amazing how rust just eats everything on a truck. Also, I would of loved new bolts and washers with the pulleys I ordered (I didn't think of it beforehand) but I had to settle for reusing the old ones. My local mechanic told me that he never replaces the bolts when he does pulleys. Which is weird but whatever.

Bad news is that I broke the little pin holder in the pulley tensioner. So I' have to replace that at some point. :bananadead:Thankfully I put the belt on correctly otherwise I would of had a really bad day.

Someone at the falls tour in NH had mentioned that my truck was loud and the pulleys needed replacing. They we're right..I had the AC and pump pulleys going bad. Also, the db sound meter clocked the noise as 3-4 point less after installing the new ones. This was cool to see.

Also got my driver seat lift and replaced the hitch plug. Originally I wanted the plug on the bumper next to the license plate but was too damn tired. Overall good learning experience.

4 decibels may not seem like a lot but according to our sound engineers it is. Great job.
