I second this option @Sasquatchtaco . This was what I was going to go with until my truck died.

Also the back rubs will be worth it.

Shes the one that told you to lift it. You're only doing what she said. And you'd be doing it the right way.

I have one of his deep raptor style grilles. LOVE IT!!! makes the truck look even meaner with the new bumper now.

Man I've got the heaviest option Deaver expeditions they really aren't much stiffer than the stock ones. Both Deaver and Dakar are thick progressive leaf packs. The first few leafs are the softer riding ones when you load them down that's when the shorter "heavier" leafs start to shine in holding the weight of the truck. If you go with something like what @Blackout14 sell or Dobinson they use a thicker heavier spring for each leaf thus making each leaf stiffer. They also use more arch to obtain lift rather than stacking leafs like deaver and dakar do. Hope that makes some sense.

I don't even know what those red things are for really. They make no sense to me anyone whose ever done any type of rigging none of the shackles have them. Guess they're just a bling factor offroader thing.

They keep the shackles from banging off the bumper as you driving. Always remove them before doing a recovery

Supposed to just stop the shackle from banging against the bumper, clanking or chipping the paint.

Yeah I just don't really care about noises and such I am a utilitarian type of person so to me the first time I use those shackles and the rubber piece comes off more than likely they will never get put back on.

:boink: If you were so utilitarian then they shouldn’t stay on the bumper 24/7 then. Don’t want them to be seized shut when you need them! That’s why mine aren’t on there.
