Did I ever go into detail on that fucker?

I bought it, and drove it for MAYBE a week. Then the ECU went out on it. $1k and 3 weeks later and I got it back. THE VERY NEXT DAY I was driving down the highway and one of the front axle shafts broke at the U joint, causing my tire to pitch inward at a 45 degree angle. Came to a screeching halt on the freeway, managing to cause an accident (whoops). Got it towed home, where it sat for maybe a year. Cleaned it up and sold it for like $2,500. So I didn't even put a tank of gas through it and paid about $10k when it was all said and done. That's why I say it was my worst financial mistake ever.

Holy shit! Talk about a turd. Why did it take you a year to say “the fuck with you POS Dodge” ? Holding on to hope it would revive itself off the yard? And one last question. During this year you had the Dodge just parked as yard art, what were you driving around?

It sat because I didn't have any money to fix it after I had just dropped money on the ECU. When it broke the power steering rack also went out, so more $$$$$. I had a 2007 Scion Tc that I rolled around in, so I really had no motivation to fix the damn thing. Just left it parked in the back of the driveway!

Them Scions where sweet. My buddy had a pimped out XB and he loved the damn thing.

$2,500 with a broken power steering for the damn Dodge was a hell of a deal for the brave soul that took on the challenge. Did you ever see it or hear back from the new owner after you sold it?

Yeah I loved that car. Was a 5 speed manual and it was a blast to drive.

Never heard from again! I was completely transparent in what happened, and he still wanted it. I was asking $5k, he was hesitant, so I just went straight to $2,500. I wanted that fucker gone.

I once had a Dodge. It was a SCSB Hemi. Cammed, NOS, LT headers, electric cut out, full 3” exhaust, Full Bolt Ons, Eaton locker & 4:56 gears. That thing gave me 5-7 MPG. I was a college student so it spend the majority of its life under a tree at my parents house. I bought it in 05 new sold it in 08 with 13k miles only. That thing was a fucking rocket but the price of 92 octane made it sit in the launching pad the majority of the time. During this time my GF, now wife, lived 100 miles away. I would spend about $100 in gas alone if I took the Hemi. I ended up buying a 2002 Ford Taurus. The most grandma vehicle I could find. It became my daily driver and that thing literally took me to work and put me through college. I dont miss the Hemi as much as I miss my Silver Bullet Taurus

That truck sounds like a blast to drive!! I hear you though. Trucks with shitty MPG can really get expensive. My first truck was a '72 chevy C10 that a family friend let me borrow for a few months. Dual cherry bomb exhaust and a 350 small block. Bright yellow and no door handles (had the poppers). It was so fun but also got like 6 mpg

No, single cab long bed. I'll have to try and dig up a pic this week. It's gonna be tough to find.
