No issue with not having it for this weekend, really my fault for not getting the info for measurements sooner. I'll get it together eventually.
Had the opportunity for time off and going for a multi day motorcycle trip next week on the new bike, so all time has been going in to route planning and making sure everything is inline for that trip.

Just got an email response from my insurance agent. My homeowners insurance extends coverage to my daughters dorm room for no additional premium cost.

@ilubtimmyhos I was thinking about it this morning and I really don't think it'd be difficult or expensive to make our own mid skid for you. It's just one flat piece with a bend at each end. Would be easy to notch it with an angle grinder, bend it and weld it. And just add some reinforcements on top with either some angle iron or flat bar. My guess is $150 in material?

Hell nah. The skid itself would be easy but the cross member, not so much.

 

Whatchu up to tonight chad? Played any disc recently? I'll be getting out tomorrow to have some brews and throw some discs.

 

I figured a collaboration between the lesser know #nickfab and the well know #randyfab could fabricate 2/3rds of a skid plate set. I guess some people are just more forward thinking...
