I like how you always make me think hard Jaime. thank you for that.

At this rate I'll never have to worry about Alzheimer's.

Although, maybe it's just freakish that a 56 year old man knows this is a reference to the TMNTs? Or that he just typed TMNT?

    Congrats haha!

The grill is stand by lol i'll take care of that next year haha

I don't have anymore red paint to match a new grill, so the black one from "the guy you know" would have to stay black, and that is not an option lol!

An hour and 15! I tried as much this time as I have any other time. Mostly because my divo was a proctor and knew I was there.

Thought I'd bring you in here to keep the other thread clutter free.

Anyways, the wiring can be intimidating at first glance, but it's not too terribly bad. The reason being is they supply their wiring harness already prewired for the compressor as well as up to two lockers. Everything is in the instructions, but you will need a few things.

I needed two add a circuits. One so the switch lights up when my headlights are on, and the other is a switched +12v source so the compressor can only turn on when the truck is on.

I also needed a couple O ring crimps and crimper to connect the positive and ground.

Again, it was a bit intimidating and frustrating at first but once you read the instructions a couple times, it all makes sense. Including mounting it and wiring everything up took me 3-4 hours IIRC.

Appreciate the insight. The switch light I think I am going to piggy back off one of my other switches, and I already have misc electirical connections. So I think im good for the install. Just going to have to read everything several times like you said to be prepeared. Dont have locker so im assuming that I will tuck that all away. Do you like the slee bracket? fits the dual ok? any concerns with it? I iniially wanted to put this behind the rear seat to keep it out of the elements.

Plan is to mount this somewhere easy/smart, and have a quick connect coming out of each bumper. Still a little nervous but I think I can manage!

I’m extremely pleased with the slee bracket. It makes very useable space out of nothing! It even relocates the power steering reservoir (also super easy). The fit and finish on the bracket is superb.

I was thinking of mounting it somewhere else but I didn’t mainly because I didn’t want to have to extend all the wiring. Your switch wires would reach but the power and ground would need to be extended, and with pretty thick wiring.

As far as locker wiring, yes just tuck it away. I wrapped it all up in electrical tape so I can use it if needed in the future. The alternative is to just trim all the extra stuff off.

I was originally going to remote mount the QD too, but you’ll need more stuff at that point. The slee comes with an 18” braided steel line, so I added a QD to that and now I just pop my hood and air up from that. Helps keep my truck cool too with the hood up so heat can dissipate better.
