    Jaime,
I had a set of C range (if I remember correctly) on my 2014 4Runner Trail. I rotated them religiously and made sure to always check tire pressure. I never used them off road. The were fantastic in the snow, rain and on dry pavement for the first 20k miles. After that they started to suck. And by suck I mean they were getting louder, and traction was greatly reduced. There was a visible issue occurring and if I chalked the entire tread surface and drove every other outer tread block had chalk still on it. If you crawled below say 3 mph like you do when you are moving forward in traffic you could feel them "walking" as if they were mud terrain tires. Once also had a bad balance issue from the beginning. I could never get it resolved and should have returned it for a new one but they were on and I was dumb.

Until then though I was in love with them. I would most certainly try them again but I would watch them more closely and would definitely complain to Goodyear if there were issues. I think though, these do not come with any warranty in the E range sizes.

At least that's my take on my experience with them.

I would only do it if you really need to. For me, I need it for my spare (and the table and gas can holder are also nice) but it can be annoying having to open the swingout to get in the bed. Though for you that won't be as much of an issue since you have an open bed, but that brings me to my next point. A swingout and an open bed look terrible together IMO. You need a cap or a bedrack for it to look good.

So instead of talking the man out of an expensive purchase, you go ahead and suggest he buy more expensive things.

Swapped out the bushings on my coilovers today. Needless to say they were shot! Next up, reboot my drivers side CV axle.
