Hey Rob, the t-case skid I have hangs approx. 1.5 inches lower.

 

How does $150 sound? I'll be honest. I wasn't gentle with this skid (@EatSleepTacos , @Rackness , and others can attest to that). In fact, Joe had to beef up the welds after I cracked the welds on it at Rausch Creek. However, I don't question the integrity of this skid at all. After all, it was built by @Mobtown Offroad and can take a beating. I'll send you a pic via PM so you can see the battle scars.

That was my car before my taco....absolutely hated it.

 

Mine was av76bplymouth trail blazer sam as the ramcharger. Only nice thing was the 440.

 

Mine was a chevy...it sucked. lol

 

Thought it was funny when chevy made one that was mopars biggest mistake. Now chevys.

Not a fan of the ARB but nice price.

 

Yea I'm kinda shakey on it but the price is 400 less than a brand new one. I could care less about the dent.

If they offer the same warranty then I wouldn't hesitate. Has he tested it?

 

I have a whynter too. I think the 65q.is around $500 new. I have no complaints about mine so far.

 

How does it compare to the dometic and arb?

 

Never had the domestic but my cousin has the arb. We booth prefer the whytner. Heard about it when i went on an australian safari. Ron Dahl was the guide (that was before he had youtube) he had one in his hylux. Hi dad had one as well in the cruiser.

 

It has no frills I guess. No bluetooth or app capability. I had it in 100+ degree weather camping over 4th of July weekend and it never got more than 1 degree above it's set point of 36 degrees I keep it on. I guess it just depends on what your willing to pay for. The dometics have all the tech capabilities. From what i know about the arb it is just a really old model dometic. If it was my money i would jump on mobtowns 20% dometic sale if I wanted the remote control/app features. For half the price the wynter will keep stuff cold just as well but you have to set the temp on the unit not your phone. I think what kind or turned me off of dometic is they use to sell them way cheaper before they got really strict on vendor pricing. I think @fatfurious2 linked a 50q dometic for around $500 last year. Now they are $800ish.
