I buy some really good stuff from NH forget the brand it's a small farm and it's the real deal not like the cheap stuff that's pretty much fake. I read the label of one name brand and it didn't even have real maple syrup in it it was all fake.

Your neighbor is feeding you well my friend! :hungry:

Keep an eye on the carbs or you will gain 20lbs by years end.

We are not gifted with a hamster for a metabolism like @EatSleepTacos who eats waffles for dinner and weighs 160lbs.

:turtleride:<-actual picture of my metabolism :anonymous:

Quick question. Do the TWSS gifts usually come without any indication that is what they are? No Xmas card either?

Correct. I usually put the same effort as the my victim puts in. Minimal input, minimal output; while adhering to the rules of the TWSS. Sorry not sorry.

@EatSleepTacos - Norris nearly met his maker on the way home from work tonight and I am kicking myself for not having a 2 ch. Dash cam to have recorded the fiasco!.

I'll paint the picture for you. I am in the far right lane, on a 3 lane wide highway with a speed limit of 60 (but everyone and their dog routinely does 70 plus), traffic is lighter than usual as it was after peak rush hour. I'm cruising along at 70ish singing to the radio with my 4 year old, all the sudden all hell breaks loose about 250 yards ahead of me. People are standing on it to stop...I didn't see it happen, but there was a 4-6 car accident and everyone was trying to avoid those cars involved. I stand on the brake and can hear my tires squealing...figuring I have done all I can do while still standing in the pedal, I glance in my mirror, but what to my wondering eyes does appear, but a large lifted Chevy 3500 who hasn't even started to slow yet. I had one of those moments where I knew there was no way they were going to stop. Keep in mind, the shoulder area of the highway is lined with 10" minus rock (for those that don't know, that's rocks 10 inches in diameter or smaller...not exactly stuff youd want to drive in, especially not at freeway speed...(still dont know why they thought it was a good idea). As the Chevy barreled down I saw my 4 year old in the mirror, obviously concerned with our rapid deceleration. I knew I couldn't take a hit that hard with him in the back seat. Right as there was about to be impact and while I was still moving about 30 mph, I bailed into the rock and came to a stop...it all happened so fast I was actually surprised when I felt no impact from the rear...it was that close. The Chevy was not able to stop until their long bed was three quarters of the way past my door. After everyone gathered their composure and got stopped we ended up window to window whilenI tried to get back on the roadway...the jerk didnt even acknowledge what had happened. No "are you okay" or anything. Just jumped into the other lane of traffic and left everyone in a cloud of coal.

Surprisingly Norris handled the rocks pretty well. I couldn't find any damage and the steering still tracks straight. But will have a closer look in the day light tomorrow.

Daaaaamn Daniel! I’m glad to hear you and your kid are ok. That’s terrifying and I’m Impressed at that level of decision making in a split second. Surely that can be attributed to being a LEO. When you say 10” of rock, are you talking like a mound of gravel? Or giant 10” tall rocks?

Edit: just reread and saw how you described them. That’s a terrible idea for a highway shoulder. Better that than a Chevy up your ass.

 Ok being a father you can't post shit like that I got choked up reading it. My daughter is 5. I hate when things like that happen on the Hwy. Wait 10- rock what??????? My dad used that to line his drainage ditch. Hope they are planning to put some crush and run over it then pave. Glad everyone was ok and nothing major happened that's some scary shit.
