I haven’t driven my truck since. My trip to Florida put everything on hold. I’m still waiting for the coolant to arrive and then I’ll do a drain and refill. I do have a new passenger side cv seal as well as diff oil, so I may tackle that today since it’s not supposed to rain.

Do you have a infared thermometer? Before you drop the coolant, get the truck to operating temps. Look for hot n cold spots. Could be a plugged radiator. Or the condition of the fan. Sorry i was tought trouble shoot twice fix once.

Totally safe. I saw a youtube video about it. You will be fine.

Just out of curiosity, who was the brave soul who stood next to you to take the picture?

That was @ilubtimmyhos! We both had welding helmets on. We both got new welders we were playing with.

You missed his solution. You simply remove the hood and have rain water cool it off. You should really keep up B

Gave Betty white some love today. It’d been so long since I’ve driven her that I had to break out my noco battery pack and give her a jump start. Whoops.

Swapped out my interim wheel bearing today for my higher quality @05Taco4x4 one. Will carry the rockauto one in the truck as a trail spare.

Also changed front diff fluid and replaced passenger side CV seal. Fingers crossed it’s actually fixed this time. Did a quick test drive around the block and there were no leaks, but time will tell.

Carolina Mod day before URE opens back up and we will do it then and get B's shocks on. Don't need it right now so I'm not rushing.

What is that wire on your bumper? Lights?

Will do. Lets do it at the new digs. Maybe your fiancee wont hate us and be willing to let you out of the house to come play more often. I'll have one soon i'll need to install as well (you've heard that before).
