Thanks, I think he’ll be too. It’s not on my truck unfortunately, but now that I know what it all entails I’ll be prepared when I do mine.

They were the bamf and I decided that’s what I’m gonna go with after seeing them in person.

Either sell them or give them away. You don’t have b110?

What makes the BAMF much better than the fords? I need to research this more. That 35$ price tag on the fords is very appealing.

It's all preference. The BAMF are $125ish regularly, but if you catch it on the deal of the day they drop below $100. They also include the lower shock mount, whereas ford do not. BAMF wrap up onto the top of the frame rail a little bit, whereas the ford only get welded on the vertical seams.

Ford towers you don't have to weld together, bamf you do. This can be a positive or negative depending on the individual person.

Once you factor in buying the lower shock mount separately as well as the grade 8 hardware, the ford towers aren't that much cheaper.

The main benefit I see for the ford towers is you can squeeze a 14" shock in there, and you can't with the bamf.

Bamf you can buy pre-welded. I did when I purchased the kit

Very true, just costs an extra $60 I think.

Correct. TBH, I saved up a few things to be welded at once the day they were put on. I got pre-welded to simply save time.

I’m also considering the archive garage relocate. Partially because it’d be cool to have a 14” shock and partially because I’m loyal when buying things and would like their relocate to compliment the hammer hangers.

Plus it’s all bent 3/16” so no need to weld it all together. $$$$$ though.

I am doing the archive for one reason they meet up to the wheel wells and have the ability to bolt a cross bar to them. I won't be using this for a cross bar but a mini bed cage to support holding my spare. The BAMF stuff is always beefy as crap but I see it as a little overkill for the type of wheeling we do and don't see the need for 1/4". Plus I like supporting another east coast business.
