So, and correct me if I'm wrong, but dual batts or solar to one batt is required especially if you're running a fridge right?

Also, is there a regulator or something to prevent overcharging?

Mines wired straight to the battery. I need it to help offset the fridge power draw. I have a smallish battery but it does pretty good unless it gets over 95 degrees and i dont start the truck all day. I have always been a fan of a single big battery versus duals. So many things can go wrong with a dual setup. The majority of fires /explosions I saw as a car audio tech were dual battery setups.

I will need that super food tomorrow morning Roberto. I will be prancing my Texas sized frame through the finish line tomorrow morning.

All men needs a garage, especially like that one! Don't think twice, get it!
no need for a bigger garage, you need two garage. One double for wife car and Mr. truck, attched to the house, and another to work on the truck in, with all the tools needed, and less needed.... just, all the tools

Cool, thanks for the explanation Rob. I'm not seeing myself needing a fridge for a long time, as much as I'll need a fan immediately.

What about the constant charge/discharge of the battery? How is it affected by that?

I agree Louis. If I had a carport for the truck I'd be happy. Then my 2 car could be a garage and a shop.

Holy Shit! 18 miles! You are a beast! Not that you need it but, good luck! When you get to about mile 14 or 15, just think of me stuffing my face with Peruvian chicken tacos tomorrow!

I'm sure it's hard on the battery. I have a yellow top optima that seems to be handling it fine so far. I'm sure a normal battery wouldn't last long. Normal as in non deep cycle. I also keep a portable jump starter in the truck and make sure its charged before every trip.

What is that? Is that like the designation? Mine is a 23F I think. I wanted to upgrade to a 27F. Is a 31M bigger still? This is new to me.

If you get a deep cycle battery, it's fine. If you use a normal battery, it is very hard on it. I need to go to a deep cycle, but I'm waiting until this summer to get one.

This that and the other thing.
I might be needing a new battery soon hahaha the truck barely turned over this morning, given it was -6*F this morning. pretty sure its the original to the truck since it says Toyota on it. but so far its doing the job. I will wait until one morning it doesn't start but then I will upgrade
