Believe it or not, the 360 is roof top capable (120lb empty/no seat) and was actually designed to slide into a Tacome bed. The hulls just clear the bed fenders.

Also, it can be broken down into three pieces without tools. With each piece weighing ~40 lbs.

PA14 is a great kayak as well. @Blackout14 has one.

I just got my A.T.A.K. 140 last year and love it, the Hobie's were way out of my price range, but are such nice boats. Have you checked out the Bonafide's? I tested one at ARC's Demo days last year, and it was a really really nice boat for the money. Incredible stability. I kind of kick my ass for not going that direction....

Jackson may be the last to market with a lot of things like the drive and stuff like that but they do yrs of r&d before putting anything out and they are one of the only mom and pop owned companies left and still manufactured here in the US!

Bilstein 5100's w/front's set at 1.75", TRD exhaust, Colormatched grill, Illuminated 4wd selector switch, BAMF Bolt on Sliders w/kickout.
Pelican is also releasing one, the Catch 130HD. Should be available now and is only $1,500. Has an almost identical drive system to the mirage drive. Hobies exclusive patent expired, so you'll see some more affordable options hitting the market now.

Yea, I am hoping Randall will help me (equates to me bringing the BLO) build a rack. I want tubes and I want it to be bolted down outward of my tonneau so I can keep that on the truck.

A trailer setup would be more practical for sure. I have the room to keep one on my property. It's a very strong possibility. I will need some welding on that so Randall will be my go to for that as well. Joe at Mobtown has the perfect size trailer there. I was checking it out.

I saw that iKamper but holy shit, those prices. Another thing about the hard shells I am not a fan of is the height inside. I am not very tall but I don't want to feel like I am in a coffin. You definitely use a tent, no matter what type a lot more than I would so you would definitely benefit from something built for a lot of use.

Yeah there is some good stuff coming down the pipeline. I would try and find a dealer that has a ton of brands under one roof and go and check them out and water test them if you can. The dealer I got mine from does water trials every Wed. or you can call ahead and make an appt. and tell them what you want to try and they'll load everything up and meet you at a local lake. They are a dealer for like

You could add a hidden hitch to the front or weld a receiver to your armored bumper (if that's what you have) and then get/make one of these

    upload_2019-1-25_16-9-55.png

    The Hobie can be forward.

A buddy of mine use to transport his hang glider on an LC that way.

I have a prinsu and a full rack thats level with it. The trick is going to be getting the Kayak above the solar panel on some kind of roller system. I am hoping I can just find some trailer rollers that will mount to the Prinsu.

Yea, I am sure you will find them or come up with something. Maybe going/pushing from the front instead of the back would clear the roof easier than trying to clear the roof from the back of the truck? Of course I suppose you need to lean it on the rack to get into place to push it. Never mind, front = dumb........
