    Welcome to the cu...er Lair!

But dang, Conner...I am starving and didn't have breakfast this morning! Stuck in training for another two hours too! JCW's is definitely on tap as soon as I get out of here!

I'm digging tacos for lunch today too. Probably lone star since I gotta hit up the scuba shop across the street.

Reminds me: I meant to orchestrate another SLC TW meetup. Thinking tacos this time!

It is heavy coats & boots with the fur weather for us dessert dwellers. It is 49* but with the windchill factor it feels much colder!

40*s but it chills your bones & you can feel it in your pancreas

Yea, apparently it's common practice and they even do it here. Switch gears are set on concrete and mechanical so nothing to fear there. They do use concrete rr ties a lot of times now in new construction so that could be the most likely scenario. I mean I recently worked on a rail job for CSX and I had the opportunity to learn a lot about rail from a older engineer that in my mind was a genius. One of the "fled Poland to Canada because of political reasons" immigrants that could really tell stories that would make your jaw drop. But more than that he was a super skilled engineer.

I also ran into a younger engineer here today that works in the rail group and he said he was gonna have to look it up.

There are threads on here about them too Louis.

I actually considered them thinking more is more, but if memory serves it was also considerably more money than the 6112/5160 kit I have. I ultimately ruled them out due to price and simply because I knew I would never utilize them to their full potential.

Another thing that swayed towards Bilsteins instead was the fact that the OME are painted and Billies are Zinc Oxide Plated. For me in the northeast the way they use salt, I figured that factor would be better suited for me.

When the wife and I got together she was the same way and hated the cold. I have since converted her to embrace it. We now sleep with the thermostat set to 65 in the winter and 67 in the summer.

She can also handle spicy foods better now and my asinine driving doesn't make her sick anymore.

I bet I could convert you as well. First though, will be Sardines!!!

I bought two cans recently that I plan on preparing and documenting just for you. One is a tomato chili sauce. Yum!

If you ever need a place to live I have a 4 bedroom house with an inground pool on 2.5 acres in the woods. You could have the run of the joint and keep your Tacoma in the garage. I will move my Lexus out.

I agree on the paint fact. My other shocks were painted and after 6 months they were sandblasted lol
