    So optima wouldn’t do much me for warranty, but submitted a warranty claim to Amazon for me anyways because I persisted. Amazon is sending me a new battery! Anyone wanna buy it for $200? That covers my out of pocket cost for my new battery

    My guess is because they believe that 99% of the market would not buy a manual, therefore it's not worth the cost to go through the RND process.

    I would love to have mine be a manual and someday I will figure out how to do the fj manual conversion.
