Doesn't sway me any I've heard those arguments for it in the past. I'm not sure I 100% trust the FDA and/or pharma for reasons. Glad you quit and quit vaping. I am hoping to just not do any of it at some point. It's been a crutch for me for too long. I've quit on numerous occasions.

Yea, I certainly don't condone it! And like you said, I am sure the long term results could be bad for a lot of people. Just right now there are far worse things around us. And trust me, I smoked so long/much quitting will likely not make a damn bit of difference. I'm sure the damage is done. Just like sun exposure as a kid. I had so many bad burns we suffer now with minor skin cancers.

But I did quit smoking and vaping and I do use sun screen. It wasn't easy, that's for sure, and we had some serious motivation to get it done. I would never begin to tell someone they can do it if they just put their mind to it. That's stupid. If it were easy, no one would smoke.

Now if I could just learn to protect my liver and brain cells. I gotta have one vice though. It's hard to be the bad ass at the mall if you don't do at least one shot of Fireball.

Yeah mom always tells me that load of BS yet she never smoked a day in her life. My grandma and grandpa who both use to smoke use to encourage not smoking and talk about what helped them quit, they also said it was almost as hard as raising their kids. I am sure I am screwed with all sorts of bad diseases from what I've done through out my life.

Yea, definitely more chemicals out there now than there has ever been. All those people from the 20's living till they were 90ish, eating 3 lbs of lard a day, smoking like chimneys, and drinking hard liquor to wash it all down. Makes me wish I was born 50 years sooner.

This that and the other thing.
that's a good start! I need to quit too, and would like too. I can make a pack last me a full week. some days it honestly just makes me feel gross and gives me headaches. I don't even enjoy them. I do how ever, enjoy the first smoke when I come home from work because I don't bring them to work so I get a good 18 hours in between smokes from bed to home from work. the rest are out of bordem for the most part lol sitting here doing nothing during the winter doesn't help my bordem hahaha I do try to leave the pack at home if I go out for dinner or to a friends house or something.

Yea, that is a great Fn start! And that's how I use to be unless I was drinking. It all has to begin somewhere. Like I said, I wish I could do the same thing with drinking.

Randy, you really need to do a mod soon.

This is turning into a support group thread!

My son told me earlier that I couldn't call people "tweekers" anymore, I guess the PC term is now Methican American.

    Who knew.....
