Is it difficult to compress them?

Not terribly well about like a typical factory nitrogen charged shock/strut. But them being more than half my height I have to lean into them. I can't compress them by hand I have to brace them against something and put some force to get them to compress which is typical for good stock shocks/struts as well.

Yeah yours are definitely charged then. Adams 12" smoothies were the same way.

I'll double check anyways and put a gauge on them tomorrow I guess. Guess that's another good thing I went with @AccuTune Offroad charged and custom valved.

Hey you should see the AG relocation thread someone ordered Fox RR shocks and has the RR hose location in the wrong spot. That was an expensive mistake to not read what AG said for ordering shocks. The Fox's look sexy AF though compared to kings.

How'd they have them in the wrong spot? Have a link?

Start here so this shock is for the pass side the inlet to the RR needs to be on the topside not the bottom. But the guy who posted apparently he can rotated the inlet around the RR. I didn't think that was possible unless you took the thing apart

Not a huge fan of the blue. Odly they were the cheapest option besides Billies. I really wanted to go Radflo or ADS. Radflo really has impressed me and all the top teams at KOH are running monster 4" & 5" ADS shocks/CO now. Both of them are kinda the David taking on King, Fox, and Icon.

Eddy runs Radflo on the Buggy and beats the ever living shit out of them and they are holding up like no other. I've seen more carnage from ORI, King, Fox, etc from buggies than the guys running Radflo and ADS. Those 2 small shops seem to really be making the toughest shocks out there.

I'm not a huge fan of radflo based on my limited experience at Joes shop. He has them on his 4runner and Jerrod on his 3rd gen tacoma.

On joes 4runner, the resi mounts seemed to have no R&D put into them. More like a "figure it out" type deal. They also had the top hats mixed up, so we had to swap them around to get the proper orientation. The ride is OK in his truck on road, but haven't road shotty off road yet. Then he went to install some radflo on a lexus GX470 and radflo sent the wrong parts again. The resi hose/fittings just seemed lesser quality as well.

Their off road performance may be on par, but I don't see myself recommending them. ADS on the other hand is the tits and I hear their corrosion coating is the tits.

Only experience I have with Radflo is like what we got with our kings more for custom builds and such. With those issues they probably aren't ready for hitting the upgraded stock stuff market. Hell ADS is pretty new to the game with that as well. They were like Radflo is now. When they first hit the stock replacement market they had some pretty harsh growing pains as well with nothing being in stock build to order, QC stuff. They've turned that around though within the last yr.

I rally think where Radflo and ADS shine is in the Buggy/Custom offroad/racing area and not really in the upgrade stock stuff market.

Yeah I could see that. Jerrods 14" smoothies were a smooth :)rimshot:) install as far as I know, and I think his LT coilovers were as well. Only issues I've seen were stock replacement stuff. At least it was all easy to remedy.

Still it's one of those things that's not great. I hope ya'll informed them so they can be more aware and make sure the next stuff is done right.

Yeah we definitely did. It's silly to complain about something and not inform the company. If no one ever tells them, they'll never know to fix it.

Or correct something as simple as QC issues. I know when I step up to a good front coilover set up either mid of for the RCLT I am going to call accutune again and get them to custom valve them. They aren't the only ones that do it but I think it probably makes a world of difference compared to the box stock stuff from all the manufacturers.

Hola. Do you have closer photos of the holes you had to drill into your cab and canopy for the rack systems?

Hmmm, lemme do some digging and see. I don't think so. For the cab it was 6 holes per side. You just set the assembled rack on the roof, mark and drill.

edit: just checked and no close up photos.
