Yeah, captive bred hatchlings! They are hard to get a hold of and aren't cheap (as much as 200 a turtle) Most well known breeders have wait lists for their hatchlings every year. I lucked out and was put in contact with a hobby breeder that had three available. Took about two months to get the weather to cooperate and get them here overnight. But it finally happened last Tuesday. I might get a few more in a few months. He has another female that just came out of brumation and is digging test nests! My goal is to put together a small breeding group and raise hatchlings with my sons. I picked DBT's because of their threatened status. Same with my Cagle Maps I picked up last spring. I feel good knowing that regardless of what happens with wild populations, we as hobbyists ensure the survival of the species, even if it ends up just being in captivity.

Just get ET lug nuts no need to get new studs. If the bore in the spacer isn't big enough just drill it out to 5/8" that's what I did so much easier and cheaper

Good quality lug nuts a set of 24 should be like 30 bucks, I had to source mine online since local places didn't have them and wanted a lot more than that. On my BORA spacers the extended shank wouldn't fit down into them so I had to drill them out to 5/8 and then they fit perfectly.

But time saved and headache. Plus if you just go down to the local store and pick up some studs they'll be the same short ones as stock unless you can get some extended ones.

The upgrade got put on the back burner...the weather was too nice to not partake in an outdoor activity! We went for a hike in the hills near home and my wife got a chance to test out her birthday present.
