    Took my dremel and rounded off my recovery points, both front and rear. Now I can use soft shackles in them and not worry about them chafing.

    I used one of these bits in my dremel and it tears through the metal with ease. Wear goggles though. It sends metal needles EVERYWHERE. Seriously. Wear goggles.

    Edit: just had another idea! Use a step bit to bevel the edges then smooth them out with the dremel. That’d be much easier and more consistent.

    I use what Daniel suggested no problems at all. They aren't as easily cut or gotten into as they look. Lost the keys to one and had to cut it off. Locking things up is only a deterrent a real thief will find a way around any lock.
