I took my truck out this morning, and it literally rides like a dump truck in the ass end. I don't think those leafs are compressing at all hahaha

 

Probably need to remove that AAL and see what happens.

 

Yeah. I'm torn between removing the AAL or both the AAL and the third leaf. Basically convert it to a medium duty, good for 3" lift with 0 extra weight, or convert it to an HD which is good for 3" with 660 lbs.

My fridge and spare will not live in the truck anymore (only go out for trips) so I'd really only have maybe 100-150 lbs over stock.

Ok as I typed this all out I realize I need to convert it to a medium duty pack.

 

Sometimes talking (or typing) it out helps

i had HD on my old truck it rode alittle stiff without the weight. medium duties would be great.

 

Part of my reasoning for maybe keeping HD is I have the hammer hangers and a couple cross braces, so the rear frame is really stiff and allows the suspension to work really well. Up until yesterday when I had ~400 lbs in the back with my 1,000+lb leafs it still rode awesome. But I agree, after typing it out the medium duty makes more sense. And I can always add the AAL back in if needed.

 

Probably flex a little better in the rear too..
