I highly recommend Catch 22 on Hulu. Just finished up the season currently on there and it’s an awesome show. Both funny as well as intense.

    @Justanotherhemi

Finally made it to look at the blue 09. It was a bust. Had no tow package and they had taken silver paint and sprayed it all over the engine bay trying to hide all the rust. Was also missing the rear window wiper and a few other things that were just deal breakers.

But, we test drove a 2013 Ford Explorer Sport with the 3.5L EcoBoost this morning...and I REALLY REALLY liked it!!!! Just had about 1k worth or interior things that needed to be replaced (glove box, rear seat cup holders, idler pully's, third row seat backs, and needed the headliner repaired or replaced.) Might try and work a deal on it tomorrow once our financial institution is open.

Looks like a well cared for vehicle. From the limited amount of info you can get from a KSL ad, I'd at least go take a look.

OK Lair, need some truth bombs dropped:

So I am getting the itch to learn how to weld, and happen to also be in the middle of buying a home.

It sounds like a ~50A breaker is needed and a 220 plug is advised. Is this something that is pretty easy for an electrician to do or do I still need to do some homework? Or is the stock wiring sufficient enough?

Just looking for an easy MIG machine to do some simple projects. Not looking to build a hammer truck or anything...yet :D

You can buy mig/flux machines that run off of 110. The welder I have can run off of a 20 amp circuit without any issues.

Pretty sure @EatSleepTacos is just using a regular 20 AMP wall outlet to do all his welding, but I might be wrong.

If you need a larger service run to a garage, it is something a competent electrician should be able to take care of relatively easily. I ran 220 service to my garage myself.

I knew it was relatively easy, but didn't feel like burning my house down the week I took ownership.

I heard he was welding inside on cardboard at one point too, so...

It must be going around. I have my eye on the Eastwood Mig 135. Nice looking machine with good reviews. Was on sale yesterday for $299 and I have seen a -$10 coupon floating around the interwebs.

Randall has a Harbor Freight pro line Mig. It has really good reviews and Randy does some really clean work with it.

Looking at the Vulcan MigMax 215 at HF. Found a few used Millers locally, but just kinda forming a plan for now. Gotta take care of basic house stuff first.

Daniel I have a 3.5 EcoBoost on my Expedition EL & it scoots! The truck looks really clean and the miles seem to be on point with model year. It seems to be at the high end on the Ford trim line as well. I liked the T4R for value retainment 10 years down the line. Unfortunately, even though I am a Ford man, Ford does not posses that luxury like Toyota. The truck will have plenty of power and will ride like a dream, but it is outside of warranty and the twin turbos have been known to fail. Each turbo runs around 1k btw. The looks is super sleek & a head turner for sure. Them 20s make it look sexy and sporty.

At that price range you are looking at 2011-2013ish T4R territory. It would be personal preference from this point on.

This hurts to say, again being a Ford guy, but I would hold off for a clean Toyota 4 Runner. Even if you find something out of state, it may be worth the drive.

Look at Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, & Texas. Hot weather, no salt on the roads, & little to know snow.
