    It appears that sparks could easily get under that PPE and cause harm, please cinch tightly around neck for safety.

    Actually, the scariest thing in this photo is probably the use of the same extension cord my mom used to use when she'd plug in those little window candles around xmas time.

    Anybody in here used Beck Arney branded replacement (from rock auto) parts in lieu of OEM? I can get two LCA's with ball joints shipped to my door for a third the cost of OEM ones...

    Moogs are similarly priced to the becks. Maybe I will give them a shot. I really need to get my truck fixed. I am at the wear bars on my tires...

    Beck Arney just like Moog has different levels some good some not so good. I've always had success with their better stuff.

    Is there a way to tell the different levels? Their lca's are the most expensive on rock auto, and are in the daily driver section, not the economy like the moogs.

    @EatSleepTacos
    What kind/grade of oil are you using right now? I am switching to standard oil 10w-30, and see if it is slowing down the consumption. I guess there are no harm to use standard. Engine won't know lol

    I use conventional 5w-30. I had a slight leak and switching from syn back to conventional seemed to stop it.
