I’ve seen a couple cases where the eye of the lca come undone. Doubtful I’ll manage to do that, but this is free insurance.

Well boys, I'm going to place the order for some new gears finally. I'm going to go with 4.88, and no front locker.

Reason for 4.88 is I'll leave my options open, up to 37s in the future. I'll be over geared as hell, but as it is now I already drive around at 65 mph in 4th gear, 3k RPM. So screaming down the highway, not going very fast, is nothing new to me. Plus it's not my daily driver.

how much are the white line bushing yall have been talking about? I have brand new LCA's waiting to go in but been on a tight budget lately. wondering if its worth the upgrade before putting them on the truck.

Mailing mine in so I can reuse my current locker. I was going to drive down there, but Chase mentioned having to pay sales tax. It ultimately ended up being cheaper to just ship mine. Plus then I won't get hit with the core charge, and diffs that get mailed in get sent to the front of the line.

that's not terrible actually but not in the budget at this point. right now I need to do my back breaks and get this bumper painted and put on my truck. I have a lot of driving to do in a couple weeks. I would also really like to get my LCA mounted before the trip. im getting a weird sound from upfront and my first guess is shot LCA bushings

I love my 4.88s as far as RPM versus speed its perfect. That's with an auto though.

Yeah that’s what I’ve read on the auto, and to go 4.56 with manual. But I would rather be over geared for sure, since it’ll help with crawling.

Um. That bushing should be flush with the lca. Glad I’m replacing these.
