I dont have any lights or anything, I probably need to check my cv's and get an alignment though.

I'm excited to see the video of that one lol

so I bounced the right rear of my rear bumper off a tree and @quis23 pointed out my bumper might be in a bit. Put a tram gauge on the rear and sure nuf, swung the frame about 1/2 inch. Weak sauce

So, on top of the other damage I acquired over the last week, I have a vibration under load that starts around 2000 rpm. I haven’t removed the skids and checked everything yet but it feels like a damaged motor or trans mount. Would/could this be the infamous needle bearing? I’ll check cv play play tonight but just looking for some insight

If you turn and it goes away, its a wheel bearing. If you swap to 4wd and it goes away, it's a needle bearing.

If you can turn and it gets better, and if you swap to 4wd it also gets better...it's both. :anonymous:

It does not go away when 4wd is turned on. Its not a wheel bearing do to the fact it’s not effected by speed it’s, but engine load. When I coast at 287 mph it doesn’t vibrate.

Yes wheels are out of balance. Yes it’s out of alignment. But it’s a drivetrain vibration. Feels like the trans or motor makes contact with the frame under load

@3pooches remove your rear driveshaft and pop it in 4wd and go for a drive. That’ll help in the troubleshooting process.

Then youre initial postulations may be accurate. I would investigate the "no brainer" stuff first just to have piece of mind, then try to find the "oh shit" thing.

I’ll give it a shot, but the vibe feels like it’s from the front.
