Yep! Snow level with drop to sub 9k feet tonight. That photo is at the base of the peak I posted earlier. The summit of that road is at 10,715 ft. The lake the photo was taken at sits at 10,050 ft. We got up there around noon on saturday, was 57 degrees with mid 80s at home in the valley.

Currently 49 degrees here. 28 degrees up there...BRRRR!!!!

I found this video. It explains and demonstrates the principle very well. Another benefit of using blocks is since winching draws so many amps, and wears out your battery quickly you are essentially reducing that issue too.

I could try but generally where I go, Tomfoolery follows. Maybe though I can work on just bringing a little buffoonery instead. :D

I hear Lairs are more widely accepted these days Hermano. Not too sure about the multiple wives idea though.

Well, not your fault, you meant 2 not 3, and it's funny, sometimes, when I see 3 I just automatically think 3, my bad.

I'm still green. I'll get better. Promise.

I just mean dont be like the shitsticks that move here from California because they dont like the way things have gotten and they make pushes to vote x way, etc to make it like the places they came from.

See Denver as an example, specifically the Peoples Republic of Boulder.

The only time there would be any benefit to more than one wife is when one isn't feeling frisky, you'd have other options. Otherwise multiple wives would just be an utter crapshoot!!!

I work with a few people who grew up poly. One siad all her dad's wives had a different specialty: One was a nurse, one a paralegal, one was a accounting clerk, one was something else. Homebody diversified his portfolio

Here's the Lair's Thursday lesson in "Basic" accounting:

    PSL at Starbucks: $6,

A whole jar of pumpkin spice to add to the free work coffee: $4.99

    You're welcome

Pretty sure almost 100% sure that the smitty 12k are in the same form factor as the 8-10k ones just different gearing. The other manufacturers of winches usually jump up to a bigger body and bolt pattern which is why they don't work. I'm always for getting as much winch as possible. Just double check on that and make sure it's ok for use with the bumper.
NC is getting like that as well especially the triangle area. Damn Yankees and comifornians coming here

Well there's a good chance I could end up in North Durham (Treyburn) before too long. But I'll do my best to add to the Yee Yee factor, not take away from it.

Yep, the x20 10k and 12k are the same winch, just different gearing. Lloyd runs the 12k since his truck is a heavy boi.

You getting fancy with that. Treyburn is one of the reasons the "city" has moved that far out. I'm a durhamite born and raised. Durham has changed some for the better some for the worse and some to forget the history.
