Today I greased all my leaf and shackle bushings, as well as the slip yoke (proper term?) on the rear driveshaft, and used a dry lube in between my leafs. After atr, every single everything on my truck squeaked from the dust. Shit rides like a Cadillac now. I had to unbolt the leafs, wrangle them around, etc, since I don’t have zerks. But dammit it was worth it.

Take the boot off. You have to unbolt the DS from the diff, cut both wire bands holding the boot on, and it slips right out. Grease it up, and put it back together. I just used zip ties to hold the boot in place.

No, just whatever grease I had in my grease gun. Figured any grease is better than none.
