I was thinking of you all last week Mi Hermano! The temps were near 100 all week and two days showed us 100 and 101.

We were the only two gringo's sweating down there. I think everyone else was an alien.

 

@EatSleepTacos browsed through your thread, I'm rebuilding my LCAs and plan to use some Whiteline bushings. How do you like them so far on your truck?

I’m not a huge fan. Even using their grease it’s hard to keep them silent. If I could do it all over again I would buy moog full replacements and call it a day.

 

Well that sucks. I was hoping to get a decent polyurethane solution. Oh well. Guess I'll just SAS my truck then.

 

I think the best solution if you really want poly is aftermarket lowers, such as dirt king or total chaos. Easily greaseable and stout as hell. And also expensive.

 

Yeah, I don’t feel like paying that much for stock length. I can reinforce the extra LCAs I got and make them just as strong for $0. Ugly, yes. Expensive, not at all. Lol. I’ll live with the OEM style bushings, the popping just gets old.

I did have a question I forgot to ask. What's the deal with the new sliders? The Overland version? Are they as stout as what I had? We know how well those held up.

Peter Sinks is a canyon up by the Idaho border is always super cold, but it set a national record for being -36F in October. Pretty routinely gets to -75* to -100* in Jan / Feb timeframe.

 

I just added this to my list of places that I never want to go.
