Depends. If they approve the claim then UPS pays the vendor for the lost product. This lost cost is baked into the cost to ship items which the vendor pays to ship you stuff. Since shipping is passed to the customer ultimately you pay for it.

If they deny the claim, the vendor pays for it. This lost cost is baked into the sale price of the item which you ultimately pay.

So either way, customers pay for it.

Well, I do really feel bad for you and was trying some humor to lift ya up some. I would like to think though that while today is a wash, tomorrow when you contact the shipper and tell them what happened they will at the very least, investigate it. I don't even want to hear this is on you.

Shipper got everything right. I cant blame him. It's on me to work with UPS to recovery the package or file a claim for loss. They said they were going to pick it up and update shipping........ nothing yet:confused:

No. My wife didn't like how low the vinyl flooring sat compared to the carpet. So I pulled the vinyl up and glued and tapcon screwed 3/4" subfloor down and then reinstalled the laminate vinyl flooring. It ended up making a really weird transition from the bathroom to hallway carpet. With a little help of some expertly cut (who am I kidding) wood strips to space the transition strip up even with the laminate, some longer screws, a hammer drill, and plastic plugs, I was able to securely attach the c channel the transition strip clips into to the concrete at the right height. It is now a very smooth transition between the two surfaces with no risk of stubbed/cut toes!

Ha ha! Sometimes it pays to have a government job. I get pretty much every holiday on the calendar off paid...unless I am on call.

I successfully accomplished nothing. Truck is still a muddy mess and packed from this weekend even though I got home last night

I finally installed my a pop n lock! I've had the thing forever and never got around to it. I'm slowly hacking away at the parts under my desk at the office.

Just in time for black Friday
