I run synthetic in my diffs. Conventional in the motor.

It is Mobil 1. I run their chevron branded conventional and always buy it while on coupon. One case is enough to do an oil change on both vehicles.

They say if you make one extra principal only payment each year, it cuts 6 years off a 30 year mortgage.

I had a lot of money before I got married. Hence my truck! I also had two Yamaha Grizzly 4 wheelers I owned outright too. Enjoy it while you can, having a family is expensive!!

Amen brother! I sold both of my above mentioned 4 wheelers to get into our house right when the market was at the bottom of the decline. Never would have been able to save enough to close otherwise. It is the best decision I have ever made. We have been in our house for 4 years and currently have about 110k in equity! Talk about a good return on a 12k (what I got out of the 4 wheelers) investment.

Yeah, me either. I guess that's what I get for choosing a career in public service...i definitely didn't choose it to become wealthy.

ive been putting my tax return and my bonus, for the past 3 years. I should be putting my roommate's rent also, but it comes at the convenient time, when my credit card payment is due

The Lair and the WHYDTYTT thread are really the only two I regularly check anymore.

Hey guys, would a camper shell that's 5 feet wide fit on a Tacoma?

Yeah I'm still trying to get out and meet more of them! Probably will get out and do some trails and camping once everything opens up for the fall/winter.

I am more in this thread than any other lol here it doesn't goes too fast even if you missed a day it is easy to catch up and people are cool!

I had too! And that's why I did all my "big" purchase before the house. I had a Suzuki LTZ400 that I sold because I bought a CanAm Outlander and a trailer. I used the suzuki money to get me a little fishing boat. And when I had bought all this me and my Gf bought the house. I am glad to have bought my toys before the house because now I couldn't afford them. Everything is clear of payment except the truck...

Imo a house is the best investment you can have. It doesn't take long before you can catch up on the down payment when you sell it, making a great down for another one. I heard a lot of people saying that if you want to play the game of buying/selling houses, your 5th is clear of loan! You have to live a little in each tho, so it might take like 15-20 years, which is 5-10 years of payment saved!
it goes pretty fast! Usually I start reading 4 pages before the last one so it keeps me updated.

    I have no local thread:pout:

It is always just the same, people following an idea. It gets hard to resist when everyone does and post pics about the mod you want to do but have to funds to do it!
