I've been reading about these Nokian tires. Very similar to falkens. Nokians are my third choice.

My brother in law had 285 wildpeaks and took the off after only 20k miles. The warped and wore uneven with the thread wear every other looked bad. That is the only experience I know if first hand.

I got them the beginning of this year, second hand with about 10k miles on them. I think I paid $1,200, I don’t remember exactly. I do like them because now I’ll go fast and have a little fun if I can. Like at aoaa I’ll go bombing down coal road, that main center one. I also now have 12” king smoothies in the rear in a relocate for maximum flex.

Nice. I’m thinking about redoing my suspension sometime in a year or two.

    Dunno yet.
    Still in research mode.
I do know I want to do both front and rears, including new leafs.
A good balance of ability to deal with weight, flex, and yes, go-fast ability.

Well one thing I believe is a must have are hammer hangers, and poly bushings in the shackles if you go oem. Let’s the back end articulate a whole lot. I ended up getting them because I bent one of my factory hangers.

And some sort of shock relocation. If you want a little go fast then archive relocation and 14” shocks are a perfect pairing

I just have Dakar’s. They’re alright, but if I had more money to spend on leafs I’d get deavers. My ideal rear set up is deavers, hammer hangers, archive relocate, 14”x2.5” king smoothies.

I say smoothies for simplicity since I’m not about to take the time to tune bypasses and I don’t want to listen to them clicking.

I ran 56,000 on my first set of falkens with zero issues. They are awesome tires and have been excellent in all conditions (Dry, rain, snow, mud, etc). I replaced them with another set a couple months ago

I’ve also got a set on a tundra and my brother has a set on his Tacoma. No issues with any of them.

It’s by far the best tire I’ve ever run and it’s unlikely I’ll run anything else for the foreseeable future.
