I went with the grabbers artic which interestingly enough no one mentioned on here but I went with product familiarity.



I will be switching to falkens in the summer though @Kemosabe

For sure. Up until now I thought a winter tire needed as much meat as possible, like a wheeling tire for example, which it doesn't. I'm now educated

 

Can't go wrong with real winter tires for this season. I'm pretty sure you'll love them

 

That's way cool Rob! So do you run a switchpro or something like that? I like lighting. Definitely need something in the bed with a cap.

 

I like wiring things so I made my own switch / relay bank. I might get a switchpro at some point. They are pretty sweet!

 

I have a similar digital product from Auxbeam, with 8 touch on/off buttons. I plan on putting it in the new Taco with a bunch of lights again. I have 3 light bars and I'd like to mount one of them on top of the rear most bed bar for "scene" lighting. I also have 4 pods to wire up for ditch lights. Then once I get the roof rack I plan on putting the 40" back up thee and 4 flush mount lights, 2 on each side, and then finally some rock lights. Of course, bed lights. I will likely mount flush mount dual beam lights in the rear bumper, and those I want to come on with the reverse lights and be on a dedicated "scene" switch too.

I want the rock lights to come on when I approach or unlock the doors but also to be able to stay on while I'm moving.

I'm like you. I like lights!

Nice! How much would you charge for the tubbing you did? Was welding the thin metal hard ?

 

It’d be a lot, because it’s a lot of work. Took me like 20 hours. I’d probably charge like $1,500. And yeah welding and forming the metal wasn’t too easy. It was just a bunch of tack welds

 

Hopefully the pain subsides like my back pain did this summer .

 

DAMN I think that just gave me the justification I need to spend some $ on a LT kit that moves the axles forward that new LCA bracket/skid thing looks interesting as well.

I seem to remember the body computer module was in the kick panel. Did you have to relocate any electronics ?
