Miguel. I wrote a poem for you as your christmas gift. I hope you like it.

You are my dire, my only dire.
I only draw when it is dire.
Since you are dire, I draw for you.
You are my dire, my only dire.
Now will you draw for me?

Hope you like it. Your options were limited. It was either the poem or a lump of coal. I chose the best for you.

*Edit. The poem is titled “Blue Sky Brown Earth” in case you were wondering :anonymous:

Damn, yea, I didn't think it through for sure.

Luckily I kept the moulding strips from the Sport. The hole saw was a complete fail.

The moulding work was as long or longer than everything else. I ultimately used an exacto knife. It came out really nice, and clean and is a perfect fit.....the spacers through the moulding.

I'm not sure how this is a special fit though for the Snorkel. I couldn't reuse the OEM allen screws. I had to use bolts that were longer. Also, I'm going to contact Prinsu because I'm not sure why one of the side supports has 3 holes and the other side has 4 holes where the wind deflector attaches.

I'm going to have to look at a couple install vids too to see how the cross bar for a light bar is installed. I have one leftover and I'm sure it's for mounting a light bar.

    20191222_191831.jpg

Then I test fit the rifle case. I'm at 6'-6" at the top of it. I hope I fit in the garage at work.

    20191222_192510.jpg
    20191222_192519.jpg

I want to get a pair of good locks, and I need the mounting hardware.

@Rome604 hey Dave, I had to run an errand after I was done with the Installation. The silicone smell in the cab was bad. I suppose those holes in the roof are wide open to the cab :notsure:. Not that I didn't believe everyone but that was clear evidence. So I'm glad I added the silicone.

@My Name is Rahl hey Rahl, sorry for not staying on topic. :p

I left the moonroof open and had a fan blowing across the top overnight.

I just checked on it and no more smell. :woot:

I suppose that means it's all dry. I really laid it on heavy.

We just had brunch. Some chipped beef on toast, only I use ham.

Then we're going to run some errands, visit the cemetery, and back here so I can repair our dryer.

    How about you Caballero?

    That's always the way :annoyed:

It would be nice if leading by example worked but these days, they'll just let you do it all. Then they'll tell themselves they are ok with that.

Hey guys....any suggestions for me? My truck no longer shuts off the headlights after the key is removed from the ignition and the drivers door is opened....

EDIT: Figured it out. The switch to detect the door opening on the driver's door is dead.

I've had the same problem. Open and close the drivers door twice should kick off.

Switch was stuck or not functioning correctly. Gave it a good workout with my finger:devil: and the truck is now showing the open door icon and kicking on the dome light again when the door is opened...and headlights are shutting off too.

    Happy Christmas Eve everyone!

For the first time ever, we have no plans tonight. Usually we go to my grandparents or parents for a party, but a stomach bug/food poisoning from the other side of the families party last Saturday has wiped those plans out. So it is christmas movies with the kiddos all day here.
