I would love one! but it might drag on the ground with my stock suspension  I'm pretty sure I'm still running the original suspension, stuff is looking OLD and rusty haha ill be due for some upgrades soon but first I want to replace my LCA w/new bushing + BJ, new cam bolts and new sway bar end links and I would also like to change the outer tie rod ends before I go put a lift on just as a preventative maintenance kinda thing. I got the truck used with 210k now I'm at 230 and I have no idea what the PO did or didn't do lol

I probably could man but to be honest I have never looked into yet, I have yet to purchase anything with substantial weight/shipping costs. once that day comes I will weigh my different options.

Yes I did! I kept it running over the top of the bed because I wasn't a fan of drilling into the bed. I just pulled it tight and zip tied it to the bottom of the fender on the small bar and zip tied it to the frame so it wouldn't be flapping around. Nothing special.

So. All this craziness happening here in Texas, no thanks to fucking hurricane harvey, has led me to want a jerry can. I just got back from grocery shopping and the lines for gas were 10 to 20 cars each. Any suggestions?

Been busy tonight moving furniture preparing to have our carpets cleaned tomorrow and am just now able to get caught up on the Lair.

I almost bought that exact box from Costco so many times...but when I saw the one I picked up from Lowes, it just spoke to me! I had to have it!

I ask my in laws for tools every year for Christmas. Speaking of which,
I need to figure out what I want this year. I am thinking a flexible ratchet, some universal joints and a couple of long extensions!

Costco also had a nice 44" chest with a butcher block top that could double for a nice work bench too!

    :rimshot:

Nothing wrong with that. As of right now, I think I maybe have 4 drawers with tools actually in them in mine!

Nice! That is the exact bumper I want! Good to know that a 30" bar will fit in the hoop! I also need to determine if the stock fogs will fit too...

Most use either spray on bed liner or black rustoleum paint don't they? I had my sliders coated and regret it. I will probably end up spraying over the PC with bed liner for some insurance before the coating begins to fail. My bumper if/when I get it will come bare metal and I will need to paint it.

Did you get it PC'ed originally?
Never noticed that on the DO bumpers before...:anonymous: but had seen it on the eBay one.

That is one thing I need to evaluate too. I have food, water, and power covered in case of an emergency or natural disaster, but have zero gas storage minus a few random gallons in miscellaneous gas cans in the garage for yard equipment. A single tank of gas will only get me about 300 miles...

Yeah, I'm just worried how paint will hold up on top of the powdercoat. I'd hate to go through all the trouble only to have it flake off later down the road.

That's why we have to stick together! I do see a modded taco every now and then, and can't believe they didn't get their idea anywhere else than on TW... I guess they are no members, only lurkers...

You get used to it... and pay full price! It is also a good way to control your expenses, like, do I really need it? If yes, pay! If not, save for bigger haha

That's a thing I should try too. Doing the road trip in my gf's Fit would make me save, but I think there are fees attached to that "US adress" to get stuff to the border...

Hide it well, and pay no taxes :cookiemonster:

    This!

When the tool box calls you have to get it! Mine was a gift from my parents when I bought my first house last year, can't be happier!

I'd want one but garage is already full. Need to keep it "clean" so the Taco still fits!
