Well, beside my emergency dentist visit today to extract a fractured wisdom tooth things are just F'n peachy! Literally picked up another 1.75L of Peach vodka today!

Glad to hear you are well and safe over there Dirk. Kinda makes an earthquake or wildfile take a back seat for while. Unless those occur now and then you and yours are welcome here! I'll have to plastic wrap you all and put ya downstairs though.

Nah I'm a civvie now. Leave is from civ job. I am blessed because they tried to change their mind but I pulled seniority. (union shop)

Ahh cool. That's nice you can pull that weight. I wish we were union sometimes.

 

It helps, but sometimes I feel our contract works against us. I keep contemplating trying to get on the negotiations committee.

Mine are now zip tied too! But, I don't think that is the culprit. While I was messing around I noticed several of the tabs in the middle of the painted part of my grill surround are broken and it has quite a bit of play between the two pieces. I could easily see the wind being able to get under it and cause it to rattle at freeway speeds. Not sure if there is an easy way to fix it. But I stuffed a few pieces of foam in it to try and take up the slack to see if it changes anything on my way to work tomorrow. Which makes sense because the noise showed up after I ran it through the car wash a few weeks ago, not sure if that is how the grill was broken, but the wash is new and definitely not gentle.

Great Daniel, no more tooth pain so I'm happier than a pig in shit. Unfortunately I have to eat things like milkshakes, ice creams and jello's for another 3 days

It was the grill...My ride to work was much quieter. Now I just need to figure out how to fix it or replace the grill. I pm'ed Gunny to see if the blue painted grill available for an '11 is indigo ink or if it is a different color.

Things are good. I am an essential, so I can get out of the house at least. We are supposed to get rain and snow potentially today/tonight/tomorrow actually! But not a significant amount.

 

Well it's sunny and 60* on my side of the valley, so I wouldn't bet on snow.

 

Could be the warm before the storm I guess. Im just going off what I heard on the radio on the way to work this morning.

 

I see rain, but 60ish usually just means rain in March/April.

Now when we get those random humid 50* days in Jan: Pow train a comin'!

 

Yeah. Valley rain, a little mountain snow is what the noon report is calling for. Must have heard the radio wrong, or wasn't completely listening when they were talking...lol

Welcome to the bipolar weather of Utah! Was almost 70 degrees a few days ago....

 

That's freaking crazy! It's only 43 here this morning but the sun is out so it will heat up fast. I think the weather here has finally become stable enough for me to get my cap bed lined.
