Thanks for the kind words. Flatbed crossed my mind but this will be less “in your face” and should be lighter since these bed weigh nothing.

Yeah, the bobbed bed will be lighter, and will look more stock when its painted. I wanted a flatbed made of aluminum, but I cant find anyone that will slap their name on an aluminum job that big (read: we dont want to fuck it up and have our name on it).

It's a composite material with some fiberglass in it. Stuff is no joke.

If you do need one, you can have it. I have two large cubbies that I'll no longer need.

It cuts like wood though, not as fragile as fiberglass. I did the @boogie3478 drain hole enlargement mod and felt like it was easier than I expected. But still some dust. Like you said.

Yea, I would definitely take one, or both if no one else wants the other one. Thank you. I should be able to make the smaller hole larger. Of course then I will need the door too. Are you sure you can't just cut them into the bed up front of the wheel well? You might want to explore that first. Especially giving up 8cf of storage.

Oh, I am sure it's not your style but I do have an extra bed extender. Those are universal fit. You would just need to get the brackets.

All things to keep in mind as we move forward in this journey. I don't think I will try and reuse them. There's likely not enough room in the fenderwell up in front of the tire but I'll have to check. I have no problem just ditching them and giving them to you. They'd go in the trash otherwise.

Ok cool, thank you. I mean, these should be a universal size component right? I will definitely make them work. I liked keeping my bag of tie down straps in there. The smaller one is lame. If I cut the hole larger I will look at moving the electrical outlets in there along with some additional ports. Maybe air, and/or water.
