Up here my tint place charges $5k and $6k if you want all painted surfaces done.

    Me too.

When I inquired about having my cap done and mentioned texture the guy said distance makes all the difference between a popcorn ceiling look vs nearly smooth with a slight powder coated texture. Since your doing bedliner I wouldn't think you have to worry so much about edge transitions and blending wet edges.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

It takes much longer but I want to set a record or records.

Anything that comes in it's own padded case must be junk. You shouldn't trust it and just give it to me Daniel.

But seriously, what are you mounting that on?

He gets too much credit now, you're just making his head larger.

Nice! Do you take that to work? I'd like to get a red dot for my G17. I'd also like to get a light or maybe a light/laser combo. Much later on.

Do you really have time to do that? I thought you did so much lawn work on your property, you barely have time for your day job?

    That's looks slick!

I have a streamlight TLR-1 my dept issued me for my sidearm, but I do not like it at all. Cant really tell you what specifically it is that I dont like either. Just shot it during a qualification and immediately took it off afterwards. It just sits in a drawer.

That's surprising because I have that light on my G21 and I really like it.

I practice with mine all the time and I love it. I practice with it on and with it off and I don't notice a difference. Sits on my nightstand with it on all the time. Ready to make someone's day.

I am pretty sure my issue was just a comfort thing. I had to switch from the holster I have carried daily for 10+ years to a new holster to accommodate the light and it all just felt really weird. I am sure if I just put in the range time with it, I'd form a different opinion.

Also just be careful not to overtighten the light on the rail, it can cause the frame to flex enough to cause Glocks to malfunction. (just recently went to Glock Armorer's school, and they talk about this a lot!)

I need to come up with a solution to keep mine more accessible by my bed, but in a way my kids can't accidentally get a hold of it. We recently had a home invasion/double homicide that happened a couple of blocks from my parents house. Guy broke in about 1 am and killed both parents, after the father put up a heck of a fight and ended up being shot and killed in the yard. Orphaned 3 kids, all under the age of 4...

I have upgraded from the original (now on a backup pistol) to the HL varient and also have no issues.

I also have a mini-Valkyrie o-light, it's my only wml from them, but I have probably 8 or 10 other olight flashlights and love them.

@Casper66 they recommend a .6mm tip with their smooth bedliner. I even emailed them to confirm and they said yep. Does that seem crazy small to you?? I would think a 1.4-1.5 would be more appropriate, if not larger. The gun I have now is a 1.3. I’m thinking of trying it anyways and see how it sprays.

Seems like .6mm would atomize the Durabak better than a larger tip and giving you a smoother product. :notsure:

I could also be talking out of my a-double...
