I got the tire where I wanted, and drilled holes in the bed. I didn't know he had reference marks in that thread.

Shhhhh, I haven't gotten to the store yet for envelopes yet.

Let's get this tube bending party staarrttteeddddd. In lieu of a military discount, they are including a pedestal for the bender, free of charge.

This is a manual bender that bolts into the floor and uses leverage to bend the tube. For about $200 I can get a bracket and air powered hydraulic ram to convert it to run off my air compressor, which I will be doing.

I'm excited to learn with this, as it will open up a world of possibilities. Sliders, bed racks, roll cage, etc. Sky's the limit now! I was going to go cheaper, and get a limited functionality one for $380 but figured I would appreciate this one a lot more.

Yea, I mean, we all know you can get by with some tools being second class but things are definitely easier the higher class you go. With tools like this that is. Pliers and hammers are pliers and hammers.

Will you have to reach outside to open the door? I was looking at my interior panel at a stoplight coming back from lunch and that'd be a hell of a chop, well past the inside factory door release.

Damn, now I kinda want a set, DCSB haters :brianr:

I thought about adding a cup holder there but decided against it
